Kate's TRAM BAR

Organic rolled oats Montana grown, and known to reduce blood cholesterol, rolled oats help regulate blood sugars so as not to create spikes in the body's glucose levels. Oats contain a good amount of fiber, iron, and thiamine, as well as antioxidants.

Organic Tropical Blossom honey a dark and rich honey! Honey is said to actually help maintain blood sugar levels as it is easy to digest and easily converted into glucose. It also helps aid in muscle repair and glycogen restoration as well as being another good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Organic Peanut Butter  is rich with protein, niacin, Vitamin E, calcium, copper, potassium, iron, and magnesium. The monounsaturated fats lower LDL cholesterol levels. Tram Bars are sure to please the peanut butter lover!

Milk Chocolate! We use quality milk chocolate, creamy and delicious! Need we say anything else? Milk chocolate is packed full of pleasure.

Rice nuggets these rice nuggets pack a crunch! We opt for rice instead of soy nuggets. To read more about soy and why we steer away, check out Weston A Price. Rice nuggets are high in protein and magnesium, and in the energy boosters, thiamin, niacin, and Vitamin B6.

Organic dried bananas...Most of us know bananas for their high potassium content. It is a blood pressure regulator, and also keeps our blood from becoming too acidic. They also go great with two of our faves, peanut butter and honey.

Organic dried apricots These tangy treats are a compact source of nutrients, like beta-carotene (aka Vit. A), Vitamin C, potassium, iron, and calcium. Of course, they have no added sulfites.

Organic raisins Raisins provide the body with a lot of energy, and they contain many different amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Organic sunflower seeds The vitamin E in sunflower seeds possesses anti-inflammatory properties. They are also a good source of protein and contain a variety of vitamins.

Organic sesame seedsThese seeds are a great source of copper, and a good source of magnesium and calcium. The lignan fibers they contain are also linked to lowering cholesterol levels. A tasty little seed with tons of power!

Organic Flax Seeds These magical little seeds provide loads of healthy components, but primarily flaxseeds are known for the following: Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart health; Lignans, providing antioxidants; and both soluble and insoluble Fiber.

Organic Hemp Seeds pack a punch with their high protein content including all nine of the essential amino acids. Hemp seeds are said to help people suffering from immune deficiency, and delivers protein without the bloating sometimes associated with whey or other types of protein. We occasionally get questions about hemp and it's association with marijuana (they do come from the same plant, but different varieties), hemp seeds contain very low amounts of THC, the property that provides the drug response, and in fact contain other qualities that counteract the THC. No, you can't get high eating hemp seeds. For more on the difference between hemp and marijuana, check out the Northern American Industrial Hemp Council's website.
